We are the faith community of Saint Thomas Aquinas in Derry, New Hampshire, dedicated to continuing the mission of Jesus Christ in the Roman Catholic tradition. We proclaim the Good News, using our time, talent and treasure to reach the new, the wandering, the poor and the unloved. United in God, we are committed to growth in faith through worship, spirituality, outreach, education, and fellowship. Empowered by the Holy Spirit and nourished by Word and Eucharist, we seek a deeper, more personal relationship with Jesus Christ as we passionately share Christ's love with all people.

Thoughts for Personal Reflection
For the weekend of May 18 & 19
Acts 2:1-4
When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. And suddenly from heaven there came a sound like the rush of a violent wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. Divided tongues, as of fire, appeared among them, and a tongue rested on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit . .
CCC 951 Within the communion of the Church, the Holy Spirit ?distributes special graces among the faithful of every rank? for the building up of the Church. Now, ?to each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.? Take time in prayer this week to ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you the gift you have been given to build up the Church.

Dear Brothers and Sisters, I have some good but frightening news; we are beginning the repair of the plaster, painting, etc. on Monday. We had the opportunity to start immediately after the consolidation of the walls so I decided to take advantage of this and go forward. The restoration company has promised me that we would be done in just under five weeks. I ask that everyone please be as patient as possible with this process. In the end we will have a beautifully restored church ? a worthy home for Christ our King ? all because of your faith and generosity. All good things take time and effort. This phase will soon be done.
Thank you and God bless you? Fr. Bruce, ofm
